When the sun’s shining, there’s nothing better than enjoying a leisurely lunch or post-shop dinner with your mates. Need some inspo on where to eat at Westquay? We’ve picked out some of the best restaurants where you can sit back, relax and tuck in to some delicious food – all while catching some rays. Just don’t forget your SPF!



The Real Greek

Situated in Westquay South, The Real Greek have a lovely outdoor seating area on the Esplanade for you to relax and feast on some traditional Greek dishes and dips like dolmades and taramasalata. 

For a vibrant summer dish, try their Beetroot, feta and lentil salad which is topped with a tangy lemon dressing. If you want to try something heartier then tuck into their classic Lamb kefte souvlaki wrap – a gorgeous flatbread stuffed with chips, homemade tzatziki, Cypriot halloumi and a mix of fresh vegetables.

L’Osteria 

If you’re out for the day with the family, then pop along to L’Osteria on the Esplanade for a mid-shop lunch and enjoy an Italian feast on their lively roof terrace. 

With the aroma of fresh pasta and pizza in the air, it will be hard to resist this authentic restaurant and their menu of classic Italian dishes. For something light, try the Carpaccio – fillet of beef served with rocket. Or test your spaghetti slurping skills with the Spaghetti pesto Genovese, served with a basil pesto, pine nuts and grated Grana Padano.


Bill’s Restaurant  

Located on the Esplanade, Bill’s has the perfect outdoor seating area for you to relax and devour some of their delicious dishes.

Their menu is bursting with flavour and fresh ingredients, from seafood to seasonal vegetables. Don’t miss their delicate tasting Pan-Fried Sea Bass – it’s served with a refreshing pea and basil pesto risotto, making it the perfect summer dish!

For dessert, try their Strawberry Eton Mess and dive into layers of meringue folded with whipped cream and strawberry sauce.

All Bar One

Another must-visit restaurant on the Esplanade, and with a gorgeous outdoor seating area, is All Bar One. This picturesque spot is the perfect place to rewind after a day hitting the shops. Grab the gang and enjoy their seasonal dishes. 

Forget food envy, you’ll be spoilt for choice with The Grazing Board – a platter of chorizo and halloumi skewers, salt and pepper calamari, nachos, fish goujons and maple glazed cocktail sausages. Or, if you’re a fish fan, try their Baked Salmon Fillet served with giant couscous, pomegranate, pesto and broccoli.
