Westquay Works

Westquay Works is a free two week course in partnership with Brockenhurst College which aims to provide jobseekers aged 19+ the skills that are needed to pursue a career in the Retail and Hospitality sectors. The course content includes training in Retail knowledge, customer service skills and includes qualifications in Level 2 Food Safety and Health & Safety in the Workplace. Candidates from the course can learn about the opportunities provided by a career in retail or hospitality from some of Westquay’s very own retailers. Following successful completion of the course, the aftercare team will link candidates with live job vacancies in some of the 130 different companies represented within Westquay and support them through the job application process.
